Get your business online with Google’s Digital Garage

Western Sydney businesses are invited to drop into The Digital Garage and learn how to get their business noticed online.The free event scheduled for Friday, November 25, is being delivered through a partnership with Google, the NSW Business Chamber and the Australian Chamber, and will cover practical steps business owners can take to grow their business and improve their digital skills.

Google experts will give business owners simple tricks and tips on how to maximise business visibility online.

Sydney Business Chamber Western Sydney Director David Borger said it was vital businesses took an interest in digital innovation.

“We do everything online. It makes sense for business owners to embrace and adapt to new technology if they want to succeed.

“There is always room for improvement in business. Being technologically savvy and having an online presence not only improves the way business is done, but also results in better products and services, cuts costs and boosts efficiency.

“I encourage all business owners to come along and learn from the experts."

The training will cover a range of digital skills for businesses, including how to get a free listing on Google Search and Maps with Google My Business; online advertising; and how to optimise your site for mobile.

Federal McMahon Labor MP Chris Bowen and Federal Chifley Labor MP Ed Husic will also join The Digital Garage, and mingle with business owners.Come along to The Digital Google Event on Friday, November 25, at the Allan G Ezzy Community Centre, 1 Newport St, Pemulwuy, 8.30am to 10.30am.
